The Studio

Studio Ida is an interior design studio based in the Essex/Suffolk borders that works across the UK and abroad. We are dedicated to creating considered, high-quality interiors that are as comfortable and functional as they are beautiful.

Studio Ida create spaces that exude personality with layers of fabrics, natural materials and colour, while also retaining a timeless sensibility and style.  Keen to avoid a particular "look" or "trend" we approach each project with enthusiasm and the collaborative process results in a space tailored to your needs.

Gemma attained a diploma in Interior Design at KLC School of Design with distinction before honing her skills at Taylor Howes, an industry leading and multi-award winning design studio based in Knightsbridge, London. Gemma’s experience includes high-end residential projects in some of London and Europe’s most prestigious real estate as well as working on show homes for commercial landlords and developers, and local residential consultancy. 

Having also gained a diploma at KLC School of Design, Franky gained valuable training and exposure to colourful and timeless interiors with Suzy Hoodless, who has consistently been featured on House & Garden's Top 100 Interior Designer list. Franky went on to work closely with the renowned founder and creative director of Firmdale Hotels, Kit Kemp as a member of her esteemed design team. Franky's experience also includes high-end residential and commercial projects across East Anglia and London.
